We’ve had a busy fall season here at Kemper Equipment! Our usual work of designing, manufacturing, and supplying the best material handling equipment and solutions is more than enough to keep our team working hard every day, of course. Manufacturing Day for Students
Manufacturing Day for StudentsIn October, we invited high school and middle school students from nearby Elanco and Pequea Valley school districts to visit our facilities and discover what it is we do here at Kemper!
Manufacturing Day was a hit with tours, a presentation about the services and products we supply and manufacture, and everyone’s favorite part of the day – a bridge-building competition to see which team of students could create the strongest structure. We also enjoyed pizza for lunch.
Quarry Operations 101 2018
Quarry Operations 101 2018We held our annual 2-day seminar for beginning and intermediate plant operators on November 5th and 6th at the Holiday Inn Grantville (right next to the Hollywood Casino!), and we’re very happy with how things went at this year’s event!
We had a great turnout that included not only “students” seeking new knowledge to increase their plant production, efficiency, and profit, but a number of industry reps from our equipment manufacturing partners and other experts who joined us to “spread the gospel” of effective quarry operations.
