We’ve had a busy fall season here at Kemper Equipment! Our usual work of designing, manufacturing, and supplying the best material handling equipment and solutions is more than enough to keep our team working hard every day, of course. But did you know that we are also dedicated to promoting our industry with knowledge sharing and education events for both professionals in our field and the next generation?
As we close out 2018, we wanted to take a look back at a couple of our favorite experiences from the past few months of getting out there and educating. If you missed our learning events this year, don’t worry – we have plenty more coming in 2019! Continue reading →
Current project at a salt mine 1,400ft underground. Kemper Equipment supplied an 8×24 Terex Simplicity screen in pieces to fit down the mine shaft and Kemper’s Allen Snavely, a Terex Minerals Processing technician and our customer are building it piece – by – piece underground.
Today is the last day of the AGG1 show in Baltimore, where Kemper Equipment participated as an exhibitor. The show had record attendance and the Kemper sales, operations and engineering teams took advantage of education sessions, and meeting with Kemper customers and manufacturers. We even met a long time parts customer from the Dominican Republic! Thanks to NSSGA for a great event.
Kemper Equipment President Greg Donecker recently announced the addition of Chris Rettew as Sales Director. Rettew holds a B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University and started his career at Penn Crusher in Broomall, PA. He brings over 25 years of experience in engineering and sales of quarry and mining equipment, including work for major global manufacturers. Rettew worked as a crushing and screening product manager for Sandvik (Svedala) for 18 years and most recently, worked for Metso the last 6 years on capital projects.
With his broad knowledge of applications, product line management and capital projects Rettew brings an understanding of material handling equipment and processes from construction aggregate to industrial minerals, specifically lime and mined ores. He will direct company sales strategies and head up Kemper Equipment’s sales team.
Donecker said, “I am excited to add Chris Rettew to the Kemper team. His vast experience in the industry as an application specialist will only enhance what we have to offer to producers in the aggregate and non-construction marketplace.”
