    Kemper Equipment is seeking to fill the following full time positions at our Hazle Township Steel Fabrication Facility:

    • Welders
    • Fabricators
    • Painters
    • Foreman

    Applicants must be dependable, have basic tools, be able to read and follow blueprints, and operate standard fabrication equipment including overhead crane, ironworker, shear, press brake, etc.

    The right candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate based on experience. Benefits including paid holidays and eligibility for health & additional insurance options are available after 90 days. Wellness days are available after 6 months of service and vacation and sick packages after 1 year of service.

    Hours: 6AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday with additional overtime on Saturdays as well, based on workload.

    Steel toe environment. Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

    Required Experience:

    • Overhead Crane Operation: 1 year

    A design engineer at Kemper coordinates product and system design and development for crushing, screening and conveying equipment used in bulk processing and aggregates. The engineer will coordinate layout and design of systems, create detail drawings and bills of material and effectively utilize AutoCAD and Windows-based programs on a daily basis.


    Bachelor’s of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering, with thorough understanding of drafting standards, dimensioning and tolerances. Knowledge of mechanical power relationships, materials strengths, structural and fatigue analysis, shaft, bearing and power transmission design required. Must possess excellent organization and communication skills.

    Kemper Equipment is looking for an estimator for our growing Operations department. The estimator will analyze job specifications and drawings to determine accurate costing for projects in the material handling and processing industry. Working closely with the sales and engineering departments to prepare time, cost and material estimates, this position will require clear communication and relationships with suppliers, contractors and clients, as well as preparation and expediting of equipment and system proposals on a timely basis.


    Qualified candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, possess analytical skills, along with mid to advanced knowledge of Excel and Word. Experience with project equipment, construction drawings and cost estimating preferred.

    Kemper Equipment has an opening for Operations Associate. This entry level position provides administrative and support for our Operations department including project administration, purchasing, service and warranty work. Duties include project management support, service report summaries and coordination of field crew travel arrangements.


    Exceptional customer service, organizational and communication skills required. Musts be proficient in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience with manufacturing, machinery, purchasing and/or cost accounting a plus.

    Supporting our Field Service team, an apprentice will support the department with mechanical millwright, rigging and manual labor during service calls on material handling equipment. The apprentice position will shadow and train under our field service superintendents, learning the industry and equipment we service, while gaining experience with troubleshooting, repairs and steel installations of projects at Kemper Equipment.


    The position is physical and demands hours of standing, bending and kneeling. Heavy lifting is required at times of up to 100 pounds, along with simple lifting, grasping, and repetitive use of hands.


    Prior experience with millwright work, welding, torching, rigging and steel erection required. Ability to travel and work overtime as needed. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Must be safety oriented. Experience in industrial, quarry or material handling field (crushers, screens, conveyors) a plus.
