    Kemper Equipment is seeking to fill the following full time positions at our Hazle Township Steel Fabrication Facility:

    • Welders
    • Fabricators
    • Painters
    • Foreman

    Applicants must be dependable, have basic tools, be able to read and follow blueprints, and operate standard fabrication equipment including overhead crane, ironworker, shear, press brake, etc.

    The right candidate will receive a competitive hourly rate based on experience. Benefits including paid holidays and eligibility for health & additional insurance options are available after 90 days. Wellness days are available after 6 months of service and vacation and sick packages after 1 year of service.

    Hours: 6AM to 4:30PM Monday through Friday with additional overtime on Saturdays as well, based on workload.

    Steel toe environment. Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen.

    Required Experience:

    • Overhead Crane Operation: 1 year

    • Blueprint Reading: 1 year

    • Fitting: 1 year

    • Welding: 1 year

    Job Title: Field Service Specialist

    Reports To: Field Service Superintendent

    Job Description:

    • A Kemper Equipment Field Service Specialist responds to service calls for routine and emergency service on material handling equipment – crushing, screening and conveying equipment. Trains customers and KE employees on general maintenance techniques such as crusher and screen tear downs or rebuilds. Trouble shoots equipment when dealing with mechanical and electrical issues. Repairs equipment and consults on equipment rebuilds. Must be MSHA certified (training offered by KE) and able to work in a professional and safe manner at all times.


    Physical Requirements:

    • This position is a physical job that demands long hours at times of standing, bending and kneeling. Heavy lifting sometimes required of up to 100 pounds.

    • The position includes simple lifting and grasping, firm lifting and grasping, repetitive use of hands and use of Personal Protective Equipment.


    Qualifications:

    • Specific skills needed include mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, welding, diagnostic and general maintenance.
